Faith isn’t built in a moment, it’s grown over time.
Willow Ave Youth (WAY), isn't trying to be just another youth program. We’re here to build and nurturing a life long love for God's word.
We believe faith is something that should last a lifetime; through the seasons of childhood, the uncertainty of teenage years, and the challenges of adulthood. So we focus on meaningful experiences together. Less on being flashy and more on being faithful. Less on hype, more on heart.
In our youth group, we experience life together — we laugh together, we learn together, and we serve together. We open God’s Word not just to memorize it, but to let it shape who we’re becoming. We believe young people aren’t just the future of the church — they are the church, right now, learning to walk with Christ step by step.
At WAY, we want every teen to grow into a faith that’s strong enough to stand, humble enough to serve, and real enough to last.
Willow Ave Youth (WAY) meets every Wednesday afternoon during the school year to socialize, help with service projects, and study God's Word. Grades 6 - 12 are welcome, bring your friends. We also need adult volunteers to help supervise and direct the activities.
Devotional Nights are our way of growing closer to God and closer as a Youth Group. Typically WAY meets at one of our member's houses where we'll have dinner, activities, and a Bible study. Bring yourself, bring your friends, and come hungry!
Evangelism University isn't a youth rally, but is designed specifically for High School leaders in youth groups who are spiritually ready to begin sharing the Gospel with those around them.
It is an intense weekend of in-depth and practical evangelism training. Classes will equip students with skills to share the Good News with their friends, as well as increase their knowledge of mission works at home and abroad. Elective classes will give young people the opportunity to learn about areas of evangelism most pertinent to their lives.

CYC is a regional conference hosted in Gatlinburg, Tennessee each February. This is one of the biggest events on the WAY annual calendar. Typically we'll leave after school on Friday and be back Sunday afternoon. The weekend consists of worship services, classes, and events. There's also plenty of down-time to explore and enjoy the Smoky Mountains!
